TUD’s paper titled “Fingerprinting of Cellular Infrastructure based on Broadcast Information” was presented at the European Symposium on Research in Computer Security (ESORICS) which took place in The Hague, Netherlands.
The 1st International Workshop on Machine Learning for Autonomic System Operations in the Device-Edge-Cloud Continuum (MLSysOps 2023) took place on September 25, 2023 in Rende, Italy, in conjunction with the International Conference on Embedded Wireless Systems and Networks (EWSN 2023).
UNICAL presented a poster on MLSysOps at SuperScienceMe 2023, one of the main events during the 2023 European Researchers’ Night.

Misha Glazunov and Apostolis Zarras presented a paper titled “Vacant holes for unsupervised detection of the outliers in compact latent representation“, at the 39th Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence which took place on July 31 – August 4 in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
Alexandros Patras (UTH) presented a poster for our ongoing work related to ML-based autonomic operation at the Node level, at the ACACES 2023 Summer School. Besides presenting our work, ACACES was an excellent opportunity to meet and communicate with researchers worldwide.
Prof. Giancarlo Fortino gave a keynote talk titled “Integrating Machine Learning and Multi-Agent Systems for Fully Enabling Device-Edge-Cloud Continuum in Complex IoT Worlds” at The International Conference on Intelligent Computing, Communication, Networking and Services (ICCNS2023), June 19-22, 2023 – Valencia, Spain
G. Polychronis and S. Lalis of UTH presented a paper titled “Flexible Computation Offloading at the Edge for Autonomous Drones with Uncertain Flight Times” at the 19th IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing in Smart Systems and the Internet of Things that took place on June 19-21 in Cyprus.
