MLSysOps-related visit to IBM Research Ireland

Joana Tirana (UCD) and Dimitris Chatzopoulos (UCD), in collaboration with Dimitra Tsigkari and George Iosifidis from Delft University of Technology published a paper in IEEE Infocom 2024, titled “Workflow Optimization for Parallel Split Learning“.
Joana presented the paper in Vancouver, Canada last week.
Nikita Yadav et al presented a paper titled “Orbital Shield: Rethinking Satellite Security in the Commercial Off-the-Shelf Era.” at the Security for Space Systems 2023 conference which took place at the European Space Research and Technology Centre in the Netherlands.

Nawaz Ali et al. of UNICAL presented a paper titled “Simulators for system dataset generation in the Edge-to-Cloud Continuum” at the 3rd Workshop on DIStributed COLlective Intelligence (DISCOLI 2024) which took place in Abu Dhabi, UAE on April 29-May 1, 2004 in conjunction with the 20th International Conference on Distributed Computing in Smart Systems and the Internet of Things (DCOSS-IoT 2024) .

Charalampos Mainas et al of NUBIS presented a paper on “Sandboxing Functions for Efficient and Secure Multi-tenant Serverless Deployments” at SESAME ’24 which took place in Athens, Greece on April 2024 in conjunction with EuroSys 2024.
Maria Goutha, Ilias Lagomatis and Anastassios Nanos of NUBIS, and Alexandros Patras of UTH participated in EuroSys 2024 which took place on April 22-25 in Athens, Greece, with a poster titled “OpenCV hardware acceleration with vAccel“. The one-page paper version is also available here.
